Richard Calvin Hawks, a 53-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, was tragically murdered on August 12, 2002, in Dobson, North Carolina. He was working at a Citgo gasoline station when he was fatally shot by Quincy Allen, a serial killer who was robbing the store at the time. Along with Hawks, Allen also killed Robert Shane Roush, a 29-year-old customer from Lancaster, Ohio.
