Janet Martinez, a 42-year-old woman from Pineville, North Carolina, was tragically murdered on March 18, 2005. Janet, who was of Hispanic descent, was found dead in her home, having been fatally shot. The primary suspect in her murder was her ex-boyfriend, Reginald Ragan, who was 46 years old at the time. The relationship between Janet and Reginald had been tumultuous, and it is believed that this may have contributed to the tragic events that unfolded on that fateful day.
