Kenneth Staten Anderson Jr., an 11-year-old African American boy from Gaston, North Carolina, was tragically killed on July 29, 2006. At the time of his death, Kenneth was preparing to enter the fifth grade at Garysburg Elementary School, where he was known for his warm personality and great smile.
