Gloria Silos Zelaya, a 25-year-old Hispanic woman, was tragically killed on September 24, 2006, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when she was shot by Joel Zelaya Rivera, who was later apprehended by the police. The suspect, Joel Zelaya Rivera, was 25 years old and resided at 235 Adeles Way in the Alpine Woods Mobile Home Park.
