Jaquelyn Larue Gore, a 48-year-old woman from Wake Forest, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on July 26, 2009. Jaquelyn, often referred to as Jackie by her family and friends, was the daughter of Jackie Gore, a member of the beach band The Embers. Her death was a result of a gunshot wound inflicted by her boyfriend, Leslie Edward Smith, at their shared residence in Wake Forest.
