Roy Daniels Jr., a 35-year-old man from Landis, NC, tragically died on June 25, 2010. He was found in the kitchen of his home on Vance Street, bleeding from a gunshot wound to the stomach. The incident occurred at the residence of his girlfriend, Brandy Nicole Lyons, who reported that Daniels had threatened her, their daughter, and himself. Lyons claimed she shot Daniels in self-defense during an altercation.
