Benita Diane McMillan, a 26-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on November 23, 2011, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was found shot to death alongside her cousin, Tierra Nicole Underwood, 29, outside the back door of an apartment at 209 Melvin Court. The incident occurred around 9 p.m., and it was later determined that both women were victims of domestic violence.
