Antonio Fernando Lilly, a 30-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Troy, North Carolina, on April 18, 2012. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:45 a.m., in the 700 block of Eldorado Street. Lilly was found with multiple gunshot wounds, partially in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to Police Chief Kenny Allen, Lilly did not reside in the neighborhood where he was found, and there was some type of confrontation on the sidewalk
