Travis Lee Simmons, a 36-year-old African American male from Troy, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2016. The incident occurred during a double homicide that also claimed the life of Carlos Butler Sr., a 40-year-old male. The shooting took place on Crouch Street in Troy, where both victims were found dead at the scene.
