On July 12, 2012, a tragic incident occurred in Grifton, NC, involving the death of three-year-old Jesse Adams. Jesse, a young boy, was fatally shot by his father, CJ Adams, in a murder-suicide. The incident took place inside a mobile home on Wiley Gaskins Road. According to reports, CJ Adams had threatened to kill his son during a phone call with his estranged wife, Christy Adams.
