Kevin Dejon Grissett, a 25-year-old African American male from Fayetteville, North Carolina, lost his life in the early hours of February 1, 2014, following a high-speed police chase in Hope Mills. The incident began around 1 a.m. when law enforcement attempted to stop a 1993 Cadillac in connection with a drug investigation.
