Levi Whisnant, a 60-year-old man from Morganton, North Carolina, tragically died on March 12, 2014. Levi and his wife, Rhonda Whisnant, were found dead in their home on Fish Hatchery Road in Morganton. Both victims had gunshot wounds, and the investigation revealed that their son, Troy David Whisnant, was the suspect. Troy, who was 38 years old, had a history of living with his parents. After the discovery of Levi and Rhonda's bodies, a manhunt ensued, leading to a series of tragic events.
