Kevin LaShon Davis, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 23, 2014, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police responded to a report of shots fired in the 2100 block of Byrd Street. Upon arrival, they found Davis injured and he was subsequently taken to Moses Cone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. This marked the third homicide investigation in Greensboro within a span of less than 48 hours.
