Valerie Gail Bigelow Wiley, a 46-year-old African American woman, tragically passed away on April 27, 2015, in Yanceyville, North Carolina. She was born on February 17, 1969, to James Odell Bigelow and Lucinda Cobb Bigelow. Valerie was a dedicated member of the New Ephesus Baptist Church and a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School, Class of 1987.
