Richard O'Neal Longmire, a 39-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 31, 2015, in Benson, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a house on West Harnett Street, where Longmire was found lying in the front yard with gunshot wounds to his head and abdomen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
