Joseph Shane Bowling, a 23-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on November 14, 2019, in Benson, North Carolina. Bowling was at the Scotchman gas station, located at 1230 N.C. Highway 210, where his mother worked the night shift. He often accompanied her during her shifts, and on that fateful night, he was there to ensure her safety.
