Dominique Summers, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2015, in Whiteville, North Carolina. Dominique was pronounced dead at Columbus Regional Healthcare System following an apparent gunfight that also left another individual, Brandon Ra'shawn James, 21, injured. The incident occurred on Crepe Myrtle Lane, where Dominique resided.
