In the early evening hours of Wednesday, January 15, 2014, a tragic event unfolded on Detroit's east side that claimed the life of 28-year-old Gary Sims, a resident of the city. Known affectionately as 'G-Rock,' Sims was a loving son, brother, and father whose life was abruptly cut short in a brazen act of violence. The incident left a family devastated and a community searching for answers that, to this day, remain elusive.
