Joanie McSwain, aged 78, and her husband Davie Lee McSwain, aged 82, were tragically murdered in their Thomasville, NC home on October 29, 2015. The couple was found by their son when he arrived to take them out for their nightly dinner. The Davidson County Sheriff's Office determined that the couple was killed during a robbery. The suspects, Lloyd Wayne Franklin and Jennifer Michelle Lanning, were both from Davidson County. Franklin was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, while Lann ...
