Wesley Collin Carpenter, a 27-year-old male, tragically lost his life on May 1, 2016, in Rolesville, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4:45 a.m., when Carpenter was shot multiple times by James Michael Aaron, a 29-year-old male. Aaron called 911 immediately after the shooting, claiming that he had shot an intruder. However, it was later revealed that Carpenter was not an intruder but the estranged husband of Aaron's nanny.
