Deandre Gilbert, a 19-year-old African-American male, was found dead on May 18, 2016, in Maple Hill, North Carolina. His body was discovered alongside his 16-year-old brother, Tyler Gilbert, after they had been reported missing since May 15, 2016. The autopsy report revealed that Deandre died from a gunshot wound to the head.
