Christopher Poulos, a 38-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on the night of July 21, 2016, in Ellerbe, North Carolina. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office received a call around 10:21 PM reporting shots fired in the area of Pat Peg Lane, off U.S. 220 outside Ellerbe. Upon arrival, deputies found Poulos suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of FirstHealth EMS, they were unable to revive him.
