Josie Lindsay, a 74-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on March 21, 2017, in High Point, North Carolina. Josie was a beloved member of her community, known for her kindness and generosity. She was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and had worked at High Point College and US Furniture Industries until her retirement in 1997. Josie was survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Lindsay Sr., and their children and grandchildren.
