Trudy Rosser, a 44-year-old woman from Whitakers, NC, tragically lost her life on August 24, 2017, in a murder-suicide incident involving her husband, Toby Rosser. The couple had been visiting a family member on the 1400 block of Shearin Road when an argument ensued. As the argument escalated, Toby Rosser retrieved a firearm from their vehicle and shot Trudy on the front porch of the residence.
