Nina Christina Martin, a 36-year-old woman, was found dead on December 13, 2017, in Fines Creek, North Carolina. The Haywood County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of Nina Christina Martin and James Mark Ferguson Jr., a 56-year-old man, at Ferguson's residence on Buena Vista Lane. Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds.
