Derrick LaQuinn Lee Jr., a 12-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on July 1, 2018, in Asheville, North Carolina. Derrick was an active member of his community and church, participating in various youth activities and serving as a Youth Usher at WNC Baptist Church.
