Malik Kahsim Dewberry, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 14, 2018, in Wendell, North Carolina. Dewberry was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in his car on Old Bunch Road shortly after midnight. A passing motorist found him and immediately called 911. Dewberry was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh, where he was pronounced dead.
