Brandie Sherelle Angel, a 27-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on September 25, 2018, in Asheville, North Carolina. The incident occurred late at night when Asheville police officers, while conducting a foot patrol on Bartlett Street, heard several gunshots. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Brandie Sherelle Angel and another individual suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle near 100 Bartlett Street, across from Bartlett Arms Apartments.
