April Oxendine, a 45-year-old woman from Shannon, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on May 27, 2019. She was found shot in the backseat of a pickup truck on N.C. Highway 71 North in Lumber Bridge. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. when authorities received a 911 call from a convenience store on N.C.-71.
