Death by Force

On October 13, 2013, 28-year-old Chuck Willis Owens was shot and killed while sitting on a bench at Marie Wideman Park in San Diego. Police responded to the scene around 7 p.m., but the suspect fled before they arrived. Owens’ death remains an unsolved case, with police describing the suspect as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to mid-30s, approximately 5'5" to 5'6", and wearing dark clothing. Authorities are still seeking public assistance for leads on the case.
