William Franklin Morrison, a 78-year-old man from High Point, NC, was tragically shot and killed in the doorway of his home on March 5, 2020. The High Point police responded to an unknown trouble call at approximately 8:14 p.m. and found Morrison with a gunshot wound inside his residence at 801 Meredith Street. He was described by his son, William Morrison Jr., as a "nice, hardworking man" who worked part-time delivering police cars for Ilderton Dodge.
