Rebecca Brown Johnson, a 37-year-old woman from Eden, North Carolina, tragically passed away on March 25, 2020. She was born on July 23, 1982, in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and was the daughter of John Edward Miller and Saundra Brown Daughety. Rebecca was an Administrative Assistant at Rockingham Community College and resided in Reidsville.
On the day of her death, Rebecca was shot in the head and subsequently dropped off at UNC Rockingham’s Emergency Room by two men who then walked
away. She was later transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The Eden Police Department detained the two men in the area of the Meadow Greens Shopping Center and arrested them on unrelated charges.
