Coreyon Southerland, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically found shot and later pronounced dead at the scene on May 1, 2020, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Woodlake Mobile Home Park on Cascade Road, just south of I-85 and east of Randleman Road. Another adult male victim, whose identity was not disclosed, was also found shot and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Guilford County Sheriff's Department quickly launched a murder investigation and requested the public's assistance in identifying the perpetrator responsible for the shooting.
