On September 20, 2020, Charly Warters Vebber, a 34-year-old woman from Farmville, NC, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred at her residence on Askew Road Lane. Charly Warters Vebber, who was estranged from her husband, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The initial investigation led authorities to her estranged husband, Kevin Vebber, who was 38 years old at the time. Kevin Vebber was subsequently charged with first-degree murder.
