Carolyn Ann Stephenson, a 61-year-old woman from Dunn, North Carolina, was tragically killed on February 28, 2021. The incident occurred in a mobile home community on Todd Lane in Sampson County. Shots were fired into her residence just before 1 a.m., and she was struck by bullets while inside her home. The Sampson County Sheriff's Office identified her as the victim. Evidence markers and shell casings were found at the scene, indicating a significant number of shots were fired.
