Edmond Jay Moore Jr., a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 8, 2021, in Fountain, North Carolina. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and tragic. On that fateful day, Moore was ejected from a vehicle following a crash. Emergency Medical Services attempted to perform CPR on him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Moore had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
