Tarquin Delmar Fogg, a 31-year-old man from Kelford, North Carolina, was tragically found shot to death and lying in a ditch early on the morning of April 11, 2021. The discovery was made by a passerby who noticed an individual in the ditch and promptly notified law enforcement. Despite the efforts of responding EMTs, Tarquin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Bertie County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into Tarquin's death. Sheriff John Holley revealed that Tarquin was last seen walking in the area around 11:30 pm on April 10, 2021, and his body was found roughly 30 minutes later. Neighbors described Tarquin as a quiet individual who kept to himself and did not bother anyone. The Sheriff's Office has been working on some leads but has requested assistance from the public to gather more information about the case.
