Larry Barnett, age 55, was killed in Detroit on October 28, 2015, in a tragic incident that took place near a gas station. Reports indicate that Barnett was stopping for fuel when he was approached by an assailant and shot. The shooting occurred around 9:30 PM on Detroit's west side. Barnett was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, and he succumbed to his injuries shortly after. This incident added to Detroit’s long list of unsolved or partially solved homicides.
