Logan Shane Fox, a 25-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on April 28, 2021, in Boone, North Carolina. Logan was a dedicated K-9 Deputy with the Watauga County Sheriff's Office. His end of watch came while he was conducting a welfare check at a residence on Hardaman Circle. A coworker of the homeowner had requested the welfare check after the man did not report for work and was not answering his phone.
