Kerra Shawniece Hauser, a 22-year-old African American woman from East Bend, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on June 25, 2021. Kerra was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a cornfield off Flinthill Road near Old Highway 421. She was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
