Joshua Hollingsworth, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 29, 2021, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Mayfield Terrace Drive. Hollingsworth, a father of two, was a former student at West Charlotte High School and was remembered as a kind and talented young man, known for his football skills and his role as the comedian of his family.
