Tracy L. O’Carroll, a 49-year-old woman from Chocowinity, NC, tragically lost her life on August 24, 2021. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at her home, where they discovered the bodies of Tracy and her husband, Timothy O’Carroll, aged 52. The investigation revealed that Timothy had shot and killed Tracy before turning the gun on himself in what was determined to be a murder-suicide.
