Latasha S. Tennill Tomlin, a 44-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on August 31, 2021, in Elm City, North Carolina. The incident occurred as she was attempting to move out of the home she shared with her boyfriend, Adrian Tynrell Horne. During the move, an argument ensued between Tomlin and Horne, which escalated into a violent confrontation.
