Inita Gaither, a 68-year-old African American woman from Clayton, NC, tragically passed away on September 30, 2021, at her residence. She was found dead inside her home on Crawford Parkway during a welfare check conducted by the Clayton Police Department around 4:30 p.m. The investigation revealed that Inita Gaither had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
