Shantel Leighann Harper, a 21-year-old African American woman from Lenoir, NC, tragically passed away on November 1, 2021. Shantel was a beloved member of her community, known for her involvement in the youth choir and dance team at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. She graduated from West Caldwell High School in 2019 and was a devoted mother to her six-month-old baby, Salem Stevenson.
