Gregory Alan Gaines, a 61-year-old white male, was tragically killed on November 18, 2021, in Swannanoa, North Carolina. Gaines, originally from Traverse City, Michigan, had been residing in Western North Carolina since 1980. He was a family man, survived by his wife and six children. Gaines was found deceased at East Asheville Storage on U.S. 70 in Swannanoa, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office responded to the call about the gunshot victim at 10:30 a.m. ...
