Brandon Hardy, a 38-year-old man from Grimesland, NC, was shot and killed on January 1, 2022. The incident occurred at the home of Belinda Matthews, who had been in long-term relationships with both Hardy and Robert Green. According to the Pitt County Sheriff's Office, Hardy went to Matthews' home just after 3 a.m. on January 1 and found Green and Matthews in her bedroom. Hardy then assaulted Green and forced him to the back door at gunpoint. Green managed to retrieve his firearm from his pocket ...
