Charles Ray Lilley, a 51-year-old man from Ayden, North Carolina, was tragically killed in a home invasion on January 30, 2022. The incident occurred at his residence on NC Hwy. 903 South in Ayden. According to reports, armed suspects broke into Lilley's home, robbed him of several possessions, and fatally shot him.
