Torrey Freeman, an 18-year-old African American male from Snow Hill, NC, tragically lost his life on May 2, 2022. The Greene County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation are actively investigating his death. On the evening of May 2, 2022, around 8:30 PM, deputies responded to a call about a possible shooting on Exum Lane in Maury, NC.
