Angie Britt, a 54-year-old woman from Murfreesboro, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on August 17, 2022, as a result of a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred while she was operating a vehicle on Boone Farm Road, just outside the community of Union. The fatal shots were fired from another vehicle shortly after 11:30 a.m., and despite medical resuscitation efforts at the scene, Britt was transported to ECU Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, where she passed away.
